Dear DSpace Community,
DSpace 5.10 is now available! DSpace 5.10 provides bug fixes and
improvements to the DSpace 5.x platform.
This release address an issue in the DSpace 5.9 release that prevented the
application from running in Java 7. This release also addresses a bug in

Hi Shaun,
Mark has some good suggestions. I'll also add that (obviously) you need
to list your Plugin in
the "plugin.sequence.org.dspace.authenticate.AuthenticationMethod"
configuration, for it to be picked up & recognized.
Also, just a sidenote... have you tried using our Shibboleth Plugin
Hi Freddy,
Just responding to this thread as well. This is a bug, and I was able to
verify it on the Demo site.
I've logged the bug at: https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-4037

Hi Freddy,
As I noted previously, I think this is a bug in DSpace. Since it looks
like this has not been logged in our ticketing system, I've just logged it
for you:
https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-4037
(In that ticket, I've noted how I was able to reproduce this bug on our
Demo site. It
Hi Tim
I have not had any luck with a technical answer to this problem, someone

Hi Periklis,
Unfortunately, I don't know of an easy way to change that "score" only for
communities/collections.
It's worth noting the "score" in this situation is a concept from Apache
Solr -- it is the relevancy that Solr determined, based on your query. So,
any attempt to update it may

Hi,
DSpace v6.3, JSPUI.
In the search by author, when selecting a letter for example M, it shows
the results but the operating error occurs when putting "next", it takes
you back to the letter A.
Is this a known issue? Is there any kind of fix/patch or workaround
available?

Hi All.
I am struggling to write a SAML authentication plugin. I have tried to
make sense of the documentation regarding this, but cannot get it to work.
Basically, I write an implementation of AuthenticationMethod, and
configure DSpace to use it. So far so good, I can see that my code is
Tim, solved, thank you.
I wasn't aware that the "123456789" sitewide object existed in a database
before I added any content, even though I changed default handle straight
away after DSpace installation.
The command [dspace]/bin/dspace update-handle-prefix did the job.
