did you recreate the oai index after having corrected the items?
This is done with
[dspace]/bin/dspace oai -c import

file was generated. I run the script again and the same items keep coming

I think the lack of search results when selecting “view items” is due to the
authority.minconfidence (or related
authority.minconfidence.dc.contributor.author) parameter.
