That's what I did, but when I clicked on login, I got a "Page Not found"
message.
But, after you responded, I realized that the problem was that I don't have
Shibboleth installed on my dev machine!!!
I would like to chalk that up to cabin-fever, but I think it's old age
instead :-)

normally the command line clean job would remove these type of orphan files
for you.
Have you tried this & are these files that are not even removed with
/bin/dspace cleanup ?
