Goodmorning everyone,
I am investigating the possibility of using lighttpd's secdownload
module to use expiring links. I'd like to use those in metadata, so that
a link will be valid if viewed within a dspace record, yet inaccessible
if hard linked directly. Just to be clear, these files are not
Thank you for the clarification. Will customize PasswordAuthentication.java
as you mentioned in the earlier mail & get back.
Thanks & regards

I'm stuck. I created a page where the user enters some data, I then want to
process the data based on button that is pressed. To do this I have created a
js file that contains this function:
function startRequestItem()
{
var handle = cocoon.request.get("handle");
var itemId = cocoon.reques
Hi,
Sorry, I was the one who is confused. You told me the correct file. But I
have not find the file in the existing system and as I mentioned earlier,
the directory dspace-api is not there.
[dspace-src]/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/authenticate/ But the user
is getting authenticated, so wh
Hello All,
I am able to do full text indexing in the JSPUI interface, this allows me
to search within the uploaded pdf/doc documents. But when I use the XMLUI
interface I am not able to do the same. Can anyone guide me as to what I
have to do for full text indexing in the XMLUI interface.

Hello,
Weeks ago I made a question about how to set an embargo into a file
sent using sword if the collection had no workflow. It seems that in
some older versions it is not possible because the embargo is live

[dspace-src]/dspace-jspui/dspace-jspui-webapp/src/main/webapp/search/advanced.jsp.
After that, you must rebuild.
In xmlui I don't have any idea.
