Hello everybody,
I'm not sure if this mailing list is the correct address for this case,
but I haven't found a list espacially for DSpace-Cris and I have
noticed, that here are a lot of questions concerning this fork.
I have some trouble setting up DSpace Cris in the newest version. This
is what
wrong.
Any idea about that? I have created a ticket to track this issue at the
correct place (https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-2641).
Best regards

Heelo DSpacers,
I have a strange problem on DSpace 5.2. Members of the epersongroup 7
should be allowed to publish something in collection number 1.
When I login as eperson #3 (which is a member of group #7), this is
detected correctly, if I understand my debug trace correctly.

Hello DSpacers,
I have a problem on DSpace 5.2 (I don't know if it is also happening on
5.1; I will try that).
Anytime I set a file description to a submission in DSpace I get a error
message and submission procedure terminates. Looking into the incomplete
submissions in "My DSpace" is working an
Since I believe this is a serious bug, I have created a bug report in
Jira for this: https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-2558.
So we can continue discussing this issue there.
Thanks

Hello,
I have a problem in DSpace 5.1. After upgrading from DSpace 4.2 I cannot
change publication permissions or workflow step permissions on a
collection or select users in the permission system.
I have tracked down the error and it seems to be most likely a bug, but

Hi all,
I have a problem registering new users in the local DSpace DB. I'm using
DSpace 4.2 and as authentication modules I have enabled
PasswordAuthentication, LDAPAuthentication and IPAuthentication. All of
them are working fine when it comes to authorization, but when I try to
register a new us
version?

Hi all,
I'd like to have a language qualifier in my input submission forms to
enable the user to describe in which language the content of the
metadata element is. Example: The user should enter uncontrolled subject
headings, and DSpace should know, in which language these subject
headings are.

Hello all,
I have a very weird problem with creativecommons.org and DSpace. Perhaps
anyone here has an idea about that.
The scenario is the following: I have DSpace configured, that its always
loaded over HTTPS (by redirecting any call to Port 443). That works
fine. But coming to the publication t
assignment only
works after login (as Tim also supposed in his reply). Perhaps that
ticket needs to be reopened? I am using DSpace 4.1.
Thank you and best regards

Hi all,
I have another problem. The IP authentication does not seem to work on my
DSpace. I have configured it and added it to the Authentication modules in
authentication.cfg. This worked and no error messages about that.
But I do not see any effect. Not even a trace in dspace.log. I want to som
Hi DSpacers,
I am looking for a way to exclude certain collections from OAI output. I
have found a message from 2006, where exactly this question has been asked
before: http://sourceforge.net/p/dspace/mailman/message/11868240/. But
unfortunately there was no easy solution for that. Though, now I
Hi DSpacers,
I know how to import items and I also know that DSpace has an Authority
module, which enables me to use controlled vocabulary in several
contexts. But I don't find any information about how to combine those
two modules, i.e. how to import items, that have controlled subject

Hi Helix,
thanks for pointing that out. This should be very helpful for me, as I
have enabled OAI and am running JSPUI. I'll look into it.
Thanks again, regards

Hello all,
I wonder if there is a way to export items on UI level to bibliographic
formats like RIS or BibTeX to get it importable into reference
management systems.
I have found several discussions on that topic

Hi everyone,
I have a question concerning mainly the german DSpace users. We are
planning to move our repository to DSpace and currently I'm looking into
the Authority Record implementation. As I understand, it is necessary to
