Hi,
at first, according to GSoC 2010 project list, Bojan Suzic was accepted
to continue his work on DSpace REST API, congratulations!

Since I'm interested in using DSpace REST API already, what would be the

Hi folks,
I'm just doing a POC, but am having difficulty getting ListMetadataFormats to
show up a non-dc schema which I am trying to expose to harvesting. I was
wondering if anyone could tell me where I am going wrong!
As per the instructions (thanks Claudia!) I changed the dspace.cfg to add
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the status of DSpace 2.0 is? I poked around a
bit, but didn't see anything about a projected release date. Is there one?
Are there solid plans for a DSpace 1.6.1 or any release versions between 1.6.x
and 2.0?
Thanks,
Sue

I'm not sure dates are settled but:
- 1.6.1 is slated for ~6 months after 1.6.0 released (somewhere in the
June/July area of this year perhaps) {Kim Shepherd lead}
- 1.7.0 is slated for ~12 months after 1.6.0. released (December 2010)
And 2.0 is does not have a release scheduled yet
Thanks Peter. That’s just what I needed!
Best regards,
Sue

I know that there are plenty of different reasons not to do this (redundant

I will add that the original funded 2.0 development cycle ended last year at
about the same time as the DSpace / Fedora / Mulgara organizational merger.
As someone who actually works on the the code-base from outside the scope

I just put up a 1.6.0 for testing (RHEL5), and while trying to register

Hi Stacy,
Yes, it is perfectly possible.
You have to work directly on the database. You need to insert a row in
item2bundle table, marking down the bundle_id (containing the bitstream)
and the item_id (of the extra item that you want to have the same
bitstream).
Cheers,
Allen Lam.
