dstar routing worked with URCALL=...the remote calllsign ...

Be sure GPS is OFF and squelch is not open - may even be good to set the
attenuator ON. It will not transmit with open squelch.
I use a prolific converter - XP and http://cobalt.n5zpr.com/dstar2.html cable
drawings. Also be sure in system hardware configuration you have to com port
set

Also D-STAR data has nothing to do with packet, so don't look in the
packet sections of your manual. Also gonig to the D-RATS site and join
the support list. Great
