Yep, it definitely is possible. I see it all of the time. While FM is a nice, clear wideband signal when it has sufficient signal strength and correct deviation settings, when it isn't full quieting and when radios have deviation and modulation settings from near 0 to 200+%, FM signals can

This sounds pretty good. My problem is that D-Star is not all that far from me but I cannot talk on it while I am at my home. However I can walk yes, walk less than a block and talk all day on it. Some of this I can understand because of some of the things that block my path to the repeater.

Wow, I do not know where you live but I thought that where I live was the only place that people were rude on D-Star. I think some do not or wish not to realize that when you key up on D-Star you are keying up on the entire world. Now I am not against nets. I love the ones we have here on 2

What else is there to do? are people really that rude that they will jsut key up and not check to see if anyone is transmitting? Good chance that those are gps(a) beacons, which a few operators run too frequently. 5 minute intervals is really the shortest period needed without upsetting
