My radio got wet during a flash flood, well it was under creek water
for a few hours. It was not on during at the time. As I expected it
doesn't work. Before I applied power to the radio I disassembled the

was two ID-1's on board, mounted to the trucks of Jim N5MIJ and Bill

Certainly, the Yahoo! group pcrepeatercontroller is where it can be

Hi all.
Looking through the reflector NET-lists I fail to find a worldwide net
as a meeting point for users all around the world (except REF001C as the
megarepeater). D-STAR is growing and would need encouraging traffic to
fill the newly added repeaters or hot spots in places where D-STAR is

Have to go with Kenwood TM-741 and Satoshi's DV Adapter then to be able
to talk D-STAR on all three bands.

They really should have thought of using some connector which is already
available and meets the required specs, waterproof, latching, etc. They are
widely available from reputable manufacturers and the RD costs are already
paid for. Now Icom designed one of their own and it most certainly is a

Don't ask, the answer might be no. :)
The D-STAR logo does not seem to have (R) or (C) emblems which should be
there if the logo is internationally protected by copyrights or is

IF it would be protected, there should be already quite good knowledge

The audio sample clearly reveals that something is wrong. Significant
information below is that the problem occurs only with remote traffic, not
with local traffic which generally outrules local RF equipment failure.
I would look more closely the internet connection. Sounds like there is
