The base unit/receiver has started to go - the right channel fades in
and out with the coax output. The preamp coax input works fine via the
CD transport .. The SB doesn't owe me a thing ...just want a player that
is compatible ..
Are there any players with coax out which support the LMS

My duet I recall had flaky controller -- turned out to be a
voltage/power supply issue .. I know you can get replacements --- 5V
2A...
keep the barrel connector, and just replace the wall wart part ...I
spliced an extra one I had, and it stopped the erratic behavor

Sometimes need to step back from the computer and
Thank you -- changing the interface was the fix...
I was running "default" interface... changing to classic allowed me to
save to favorites correctly...glad this was such an easy fix..

I am able to add tracks to favorites with no plm using the duet remote
-- immediately after, I can confirm they are listed in favorites,
artwork shows up etc..
Strangely, when I try to add a favorite inside the web interface of the
LMS, after clicking on the heart icon, I see the filename path
Great solution - I recently replaced/spliced the power for the Duet
station --- will remember this for any future battery-charging blackouts

Yes - I saw that, and new playlists wind up in the correct directory --
What happened to me is a whoe group of "empty" playlists which show a
different path - they belonged to another server setup, ---
This is a new setup, but I tried to copy the old /var/lib folder into
the new setup ---
Did not know about client playlists and players..
I have been doing this manually with the duet remote control
My Music -> Playlists -> (select playlist) -> delete playlist -> confirm
delete
rinse - lather - repeat (100+ playlists)
Not so bad - I did this during a movie...I just am confused
I have been trying to remove playlists from the cli in
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs$ I reboot the server, but playlists stay
...
How can I delete playlists so that i have none ? Do I need to clear anrd
rescan after deleting clientplaylist file ??
THX
Just to follow up -- the duet is back from the dead - long live
squeezebox
