On my receiver as I see the sequence - red, green , yellow , dim white.
I think
I own allot of receivers, two in use, many in storage, and have reset
them many several times :)
The white does look "light/pale yellow", The yellow is very "vibrant"
yellow. I tried to take a picture, but could not really capture the
color.
I think the receiver is fine as a general purpose

You could also build a PiCorePlayer which will work every bet as well as
a SB3. These are stupid easy to build and
