Hi Larry and others !
Maybe the negative comments are due to the fact that nothing
about the ''off-air'' times is mentioned on the TO4E WEB-site?
There is a very large ''time-table'' on this site with information
on the best times to work them from different areas on different
bands covering 24
This time of year, daytime temperatures on Europa approach
120 - 130 Deg F in the shade.
Hi Larry:
I'm sure it's very hot and uncomfortable there, but let's not
exaggerate - the high temperatures are in the 80s, with very high humidity -
check out the link from the TO4E website -
I am trying to download v2.70 to my new computer
but I get an error message saying
"The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc005).".
I have tried various ways to download it but all
are the same.
Any ideas?

I think part of the frustration is the chosen operation times. They
start after the bands have closed for guys West of the Rockies and QRT
before the bands have opened. I have yet to hear them anywhere since
they've been there. It's roughly a 10,000 mile path here and the window
is fairly
Kelly really a nice signal from them again this morning on 40 meters. I
worked them there yesterday and hear many left coasters nailing him this
morning.

Rod,
Yet, I've seen the spots, unfortunately it's nearly 2hrs past sunrise
here. If they have been there an hour earlier, maybe a chance. Colorado
seems to be in the in between world. Another instance of wrong band,
wrong time. Very frustrating.

Was just browsing through the TO4E Guestbook and saw this recent entry:
For the English speaking: F5OGL said that turtles are laying eggs near the
station and by all means they must not be disturbed. Any noise during the
night is not possible thus. Please understand and don't comment with
