I have tried and it wasn't pretty. I forgot that when you install a program in the computer it does things to the registry. When I tried to access the program (some business software) on the flash drive it didn't work I utlimately installed the program from the drive onto the computer and

Yes - if there's a computer where you're going that has something close to current standards (most of the memory sticks I've used lately use USB 2.0) it's a great idea. You can carry them in your pocket and I don't think they are affected by airport X-ray machines. One stick will hold a lot of

The DOS versions of CT would probably be OK, too. I haven't tried to run them from a memory module, though. I've copied any executables to the hard drive of the host computer and run them from there. The memory modules are great for transferring files though. I've backed up and transferred
