Hi Jim and Jay! I got cards very fast from YU6DZ for CW and YZ6AMD for SSB, worked them both the first days after the Montenegro independence. I'm a DXCC cardchecker and saw yesterday a YU6AO QSL with QSO-date July 22nd. 73/DX de Osten SM5DQC[EMAIL PROTECTED] - Original Message -

Jim - Be patient!  Many are waiting for the cards from YU6AO and 4O3T.  It is likely that the cards are in the works.  If you work CW, you might look for one or two other stations which have been known to QSL a bit faster. In reference to the Swedish Station...You don't know which station he worke

[DX-CHAT] Montenegro's new prefix

2006-08-15 Thread Jim Abercrombie
I notice on the spots on the cluster that Montenegro's new prefix is Z7, but YU6AO is still using his same old call. I want the DXpedition using the call 4O6DX to come back on because his mngr is K8LEE and I will have a better chance to get a QSL.  Sent YU6AO a card for a contact back in Jul

[DX-CHAT] kh8si log search

2006-08-15 Thread Jim Abercrombie
When I did a log search this morning, only two of my qso's were in the log.  They are now updated and all my contacts are there. Sorry for the previous post.  If you don't know where the log search is, do a Google search for "kh8si log search" and the second listing is the right one. De: N4J

[DX-CHAT] Real-time log posting and ARRL policy

2006-08-15 Thread Robert Schmieder
The Aug. 11, 2006 ruling by the ARRL on real-time posting of log information was motivated by the general development of real-time applications in various areas of ham radio (e.g., spotting sites, special events such as the WRTC, and contesting), and precipitated by the development of DXA for the

I worked 406dx on 15 meters yesterday.  This was supposed to be a big DXPedition having k8lee as the qsl manager. I want to work them on 17 meters and haven't seen them spotted today.  Do any of you know what the story on them is? Jim
