RE: [DX-CHAT] Help
Yes, PropView will do that. If you also install Commander, PropView can be configured to QSY your transceiver to monitor the next beacon in the schedule you've defined. If you also install DXView, you'll see the location and beam heading for the current beacon displayed on a world map; optionally, DXView can be configured to rotate your antenna to the beacon's heading. PropView, Commander, and DXView are all members of the freeware DXLab Suite. All are available via http://www.dxlabsuite.com/ . 73, Dave, AA6YQ -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Anil Sent: Saturday, September 08, 2007 2:33 PM To: dx-chat@njdxa.org Subject: [DX-CHAT] Help Is there any freeware software to monitor NCDX becons like faros ? 73s Anil VU2TRI Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX related items only, dx-chat@njdxa.org This is the DX-CHAT reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX related items only, dx-chat@njdxa.org This is the DX-CHAT reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org

Re: [DX-CHAT] Help Request
Actually he can use the Trusted QSL program (which is needed anyway to sign the LOTW entries) to enter the contacts. It's a two-step process in that you first need to enter the data and create ADIF file after which you sign the file to create the .tq8 file which is then uploaded to the LOTW web site. I used that method to enter several years of paper logs I had from before I switched to computer logging. Trusted QSL is freeware and is available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux computers at http://www.arrl.org/lotw/#download. 73, Bob N7XY On Apr 22, 2007, at 3:41 PM, Kay W. RE: [DX-CHAT] Help Request
Kay Have a quick look at DXKEEPER -- its freeware along with the rest of the DXlab toolset. It interacts quite well with the LOTW, although he will have to use the standard path to take an ADI file through the LOTW software. This isn't done by DXkeeper (or any other logging program) It will quite easily interact and download the actual QSL's granted by LOTW and keep track of how he's doing against DXCC, WAS, County Hunter, and a myriad of others. And its Free and works quite well. He'll still have to enter the QSOs from his paper logs... 73 Don AC7ZG -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kay W. RE: [DX-CHAT] Help Request
DXKeeper can upload QSOs to LotW with a single mouse click; the process of exporting an ADIF file, invoking TQSL to produce an encrypted file, and uploading the encrypted file to LotW is entirely automated. Updating your log to reflect uploaded QSOs accepted by LotW and QSLs generated by LotW is similarly automated. There is software that blind ops can use in conjunction with DXKeeper; if your friend would like to explore this, I'd be happy to make the appropriate introduction. DXKeeper is a member of the freeware DXLab Suite; its available via http://www.dxlabsuite.com/download.htm . Just click the Install Launcher button... 73, Dave, AA6YQ -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Don Sent: Sunday, April 22, 2007 9:18 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 'DX Chat Reflector' Subject: RE: [DX-CHAT] Help Request Kay Have a quick look at DXKEEPER -- its freeware along with the rest of the DXlab toolset. Re: [DX-CHAT] Help
Hi, I've a center tape 18-0-18 secondary and primary 220V AC. On rectification 0 volt taping has polarity + and 18 +18 volt taping after rectification has polarity - Negative while in ARRL hand book center tap is Negative and 18 + 18 v after rectification should Positive. But in my case it is just opposite. Please suggest me why it is opposite ?? Re: [DX-CHAT] Help With LoTW Log-in
Thanks Kenneth and Scott you gave me what I was looking for. I'm in thanks to you. 73, Ken - Original Message - From: KIR [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, September 23, 2003 11:17 PM Subject: [DX-CHAT] Help With LoTW Log-in I successfully uploaded my logbook and was trying to log-on to the logbook users web site. It asked for user name and password. Everything I tried failed. How do I register for this web site? What do I enter for user name/password? I don't have trouble logging in to the ARRL members only page. I sent the above to the ARRL but have not received an answer. I hope someone here can help. I had cookies enabled and used my call sign for the user name...nothing. Now that I uploaded my logbook it would be nice to be able to see some results, but that damn login is keeping me from viewing my account. Any help would be appreciated.
