When configuring VE7CC to allow spots to DX4WIN, I notice in the AS country
list, there is no P5(VE7CC). Since P5 is so needed, why is it not there. Just
curious.
Or, is this a VE7CC question?

As stated earlier: I would like to see the ability to see only spots needed
for band Challenge.
In other words, If I have a band that has at least one mode confirmed, I would
not see the Any mode spots for that band. This clutters up the DX Spots
screen. So many of us are interested in the
for sure.
Paul, can we define cluster priorities in the next version? For example if i
need the new band to be number 2 and new mode a grey spot, etc...

I have tried most everything I can think of to solve this, maybe someone can
help me.
I am interested in seeing only NEW or Unconfirmed Band spots in my Packet
Screen window.
Somehow I have not figured out how to do this. I keep getting new Band Mode
Spots in with my needed to confirm Band
I just noticed something.
I saved the new country files right before ST0R was activated.
Thanks Jim!
When ST0R is spotted on a new Band, the spot shows as yellow on the Packet
screen(New Country). And, obviously I have not confirmed the contact via QSL
or LOTW.

I have located a log error. In the 1996 CQWW 160 contest, I must have
introduced a one day error in my CT contest program.
Most of the QSOs are one day early.
For example, I have a lot of QSOs listed at Jan 25th when the contest didn't
start until the 26thditto for the 26/27th.
I have
I ran across something interesting and wonder if someone can tell me why it is
happening?
I have all countries confirmed on CW, except P5.
My Countries window shows CP, Bolivia, confirmed on 15 CW.
However, if I do a DXCC-CW-Needed search in Awards window, I get P5 and also CP
listed as

Quite a few of us are still dead in the water with the Keying issue Locking
down in DX4WIN and can't get things running, and are struggling. Some have
computer skills and background, some of us (Me for one) have little to none.
Seems the people who are skilled have their programs running well
If possible, could those having the Key lock down on Ver 8.03 measure the
voltages on either side of the keying Transistor, both Key up and during lock
down?
Please report this if you can.
I am going to change resistance values associated with the resistor to see if
this changes things.
GUY,and others,
I just finished measuring some voltages around the Keying transistor 2n, 1K

Just to confirm something Hugh. The issue that Jim is referring to was
never reported with 8.02, only 8.03. Are you saying you have the same
issue running 8.02? BTW
I am at this point with Keying using DX4WIN program...(Keying via this Port and
Interface/Transistor works fine with N1MM.)
I am measuring voltages at the Serial Port, pin 4 of the Keying line(also the
pin 7 of PTTdoes same. ( I have USB to Serial Cable through a box for

I think I have over radiated my brain from 54 years of Hamming.
I am trying to get computer control for band changing, and CW keying going. I
have built an interface box to do this using one USB to Serial cable on a
Windows Vista 64 bit. I used my old keying interface I used to use on CT. I

How do you do it?
I finally got a USB to Serial cable that would drive the Band Change on the
FT-920, and now I am ready to Key the rig using DX4WIN.
Thanks and HNY
I only work a handful of Modes. When I go to Log a new QSO, All of the modes
are listed. Is there a way to just list the 3-4 modes I work? And, the proper
box auto-selects?
For example, If I hist the S key it defaults to SSB, but if I hit the C key
for CW it goes to Clover or someting?
Is Anyone able to tell me how to convert the DXBASE Ver 2.0 files Which are .DB
files into .ADIF to import into DX4WIN???
If so, please cookbook the HOW as I am short on Computerese...
Thanks in advance.
