Virginia has a number of "cities" that with governments that are
separate from the sometimes-surrounding counties. A QSO can
be counted -once- for the county, even though the station is in
the city.
I believe the state is unique in this respect.

5NN is a cut number for a 599 signal report, for example.
A long dash is a number zero.
Cut numbers serve as time savers in contests. There are other ways to save
milliseconds ... which add up to minutes.
You don't win contests with courtesy. I can make another contact while
you're saying
Doesn't the little bit of "key" code need to be moved / entered separately?

Use caution when using QRZ.com for grid square information. A suprising

I've used DX4WIN for years with no problems. Have looked at others,
but few ... any? ... will track US
Counties for CQ's award. That's a must for me.

Use caution. Many listings are incorrect in that they reflect
the information taken from FCC license data. Many listings
are grossly in error, especially when the licensee hasn't
corrected the listing.
As an example, I am the trustee of a decades-old call

Probably because a -very- high percentage of

I have an IARU Project Goodwill kit radio from the mid 70s.
There were 500-600 of these radios kitted, supposedly by
a West Coast radio club. Does anyone have additional
information?
I'll have the radio at Visalia.

I'm pleased to report that as the result of my posting
here in the reflector a few days ago, the problem I was
having with getting help with a LoTW issue has been
resolved.
I was contacted by Dave Patton, N1NN who worked
through the problem with me and I now have a working
LoTW account. (:-)

My thanks to all who responded to my question on
dealing with Norm, W3IZ at the LoTW desk.
It appears that he's difficult for most and a saint for
a couple of you. (:-))
I have 61 years of logs that I've spent hundreds of hours
entering into DX4WIN. The project started when LoTW
was created and
I've run into a signifigant problem in dealing with
Norm Fusaro, W3IZ at the ARRL on a LoTW
related problem.
Has anyone else had difficulty in dealing with him?
Any replies will be kept confidential, BTW.
