computers which so many of use use with DX4Win.
Last night, my main Linux computer, acting as a time server, changed my
Windows 98 logging computer to the correct time but GMT time is an hour
off.

I think you're referring to the page I mentioned above, Erkki. If so,
uppercase characters A thru Z are used as control characters when preceded
by the percent sign. But the help file only tells us what the functions %M,
I'm using the FT-857D with DX4WIN, and I've noticed that when picking spots
off the cluster the second VFO doesn't change to the frequency that's listed
in the QSX column. I believe my TS-2000 handled this OK. Has anyone else
noticed this? If so, were you able to fix it?
