Recently I have been getting an added comment in the "Notes for this QSO" field
when importing contest QSO's from N1MM+. After each contest, I run the QSO's
thru AD1C's ADIF to DX4WIN utility so I can import them. I'm using DX4WIN ver

I operated as an Out of State participant in both the North and South Carolina

Jim's ADIF to DX4WIN conversion utility to put the logs in a .dxq format.
In both QSO parties there were stations operating on county

Recently I discovered a problem with the DX4WIN Updater program. I contacted
the reflector and Jim, AD1C, got back to me to discuss the problem. After I
explained what was happening or, more correctly, not happening, Jim went to

Subject: Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Updater Program Won't Run
Working fine here
Hello all,
I tried to start the DX4WIN Data Updater program this morning but was not
successful. A double-click on the icon yielded nothing nor did trying to start
it from within Windows Explorer work.
I'm running Win 7, Home Premium, SP 1; 64 bit, DX4WIN V8.05.
I deleted the program and
Tried the Shift/Control/Start/Alt Key fix (both sides of keyboard) several

and even tried relaoding the program (V8.03) but still can't get Alt+S to work

Problem explained: I didn't realize LOTW confirmations could not be used for
certain awards (WPX, WAZ, Counties).
Thanks for the quick response.

Hello,
I just upgraded to V 8.02 today. Once I finished getting everything set the
way I wanted, I tried exporting a few QSO's
to LOTW. Although I've been using DX4WIN since v5 and LOTW since it's
inception, I decided to follow AD1C's App Not 8 just to make sure I was doing
