I have been trying to help Juan EA5FID with his problem. I ran out of
ideas. Here are the clues:
* MMTTY transmits and receives OK alone
* MMTTY launches out of DX4WIN OK (executable entered correctly and
launches)
* MMTTY receives OK when launched from DX4WIN
I just loaded DX4WIN 8.05, and when launching MMTTY is gives an error
indicating it can't start MMTTY. Still works in older DX4WIN version?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Mark

I don't think so.

When we bring up DX4WIN and open the MMTTY window inside it, it does not
have the 16 macro boxes showing in the RTTY control panel display. These

I have had lots of suggestions but still no prize. Here are the conditions.
1..Running XP Pro with all updates
2. MMTTY runs fine stand alone
3. MMTTY runs fine in Writelog
4. MMTTY will not run in DX4Win 7.0.1. Why? When open the MMTTY
window I get the terminal window. No action of any kind
, RTTY Interface TYPE None
MMTTY at bottom set path to mmtty.exe
Save settings
Open the MMTTY window within DX4WIN then from within MMTTY window hit Alt-S
which will call up a small window named MMTTY keying setup
Set PTT CONTROL and in key line click RTS
(Dont set a COM port
Thanks to all who replied. With the kind help of Bob, W5OV, the problem
was solved. MMTTY works very well FSK with DX4WIN now.

of things that need to be fixed and would like to see that done first.

Agreed, Rod. However, a free upgrade to a program that is just bug fixes won't
generate any new interest

Dave,
Many hams are successfully using DX4WIN with MMTTY. I wrote down some
implementation tips, which John (WA9ALS) has been nice enough to place on
his web site. Take a look at:
