[Dx4win] Vista and serial ports

I saw Guy's comment below regarding Vista not supporting serial or parallel ports. As I see it there are three ways of providing serial ports 1) On the motherboard 2) From a PCI card 3) From a USB converter Will Vista prevent the use of **ALL** of these, if not which will still be available?
