[Dx4win] Date Range?

2006-12-30 Thread W5LT
There is a feature in DX4WIN filers that is supposed to filter QSOs over a
range of dates. It is not clear how you implement the two dates in the
filter window. There is only one date field. Can someone clarify for me?

Hi Bob,

It's a Group Selection.

Filter - Selection

Click on the Add button, change the name, enter the start/end dates,
click the Date Filter box, then Update, then OK.

[Dx4win] Date Range?

2006-12-30 Thread K2DBK - David
The other thing is that if you have QSO Date set to Range in
Preferences (Preferences-QSO-QSO Date), then when you press F8 to
do a search, after you enter one date, when you press Enter to start
the search, you'll get prompted for the 2nd date.

If you have the QSO Date field set to either Exact or Greater Equal
(one of which is the default, I think; I changed mine long ago), you
won't get prompted for a second date.

Hope this help.

 David, K2DBK

Phil,

Go to Program Files\dx4win702\save. In the Save folder there should be a
file named w3gt.dxl.
This is the file containing your log and the one you should copy to save.
