Re: [Dx4win] Rotator Yaesu
Bill, Looked through 11 years of email, but found only one query if DX4WIN supported the GS232A interface. Other messages were all about using different interface solutions. I downloaded the software document, and it looked simple enough. I added this for the next release. --Paul, KK4HD AC0W wrote: > I've inquired about this in the past as DX4WIN does not support the Yaesu > rotors. RE: [Dx4win] Rotator Yaesu
Milan, Yes you are correct the RS232 is an expensive solution. However, at the time I purchased the rotor there was not any alternatives available yet, this was at least 15 years ago. Since I already have the RS232 and all the software I use except DX4WIN works with the RS232 I am not willing to spend the money on a different interface just for one software package. Re: [Dx4win] Not a good US state
First change the country prefix to K. Then you can enter the state. And please tell me the call and date so I can add it to the country file. 73 - Jim AD1C On Wed, Nov 12, 2008 at 2:55 PM, N0KK, Kirk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > In the STATE window..I can not F1 for list or change State if not default. > EG: KL7 in WA. > > If I change, upon enter it reverts to default. > > Ideas? > > Kirk N0KK -- Jim Reisert AD1C/0, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win

Bill, I use the EA4TX ARS interface between DX4WIN, a PC parallel port, and my Yeasu G-800DXA rotor. Works great. Current price $E110. [Dx4win] Editing RIG files
Can somebody point me to where I can find a detailed description of how to edit the rig files in DX4WIN. I am not happy with the way DX4WIN controls my Elecraft K3 when I click on a spot. Sometimes the K3 switches band and not mode. Other times the K3 sets the filters to the narrowest bandwidth. So I would like to see if I can tweak the RIG file to improve the performance. Note I am using the latest version of DX4WIN with the latest version of the K3 RIG file. 73 Peter G3ZSS ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
