I have a new Dell 620 running Windows 7 running Home Premium 64 bit.
It has no RS-232 serial ports. I purchased a Vantec Adapter to go from the usb
ports toa RS-232 cable to connect to the FT-1000 MP.
When i attempt to set a port for the radio on DX4Win I get an error message:
When I plug in the USB adapter, it does indeed show a com port. I also have a
com port assigned to my Winkeyer SSB using it's internal FTDI device.
When I try to set up the ports for any logging program...N1CC, Dx4Win, Win-EQF
all programs
seem to have somewhat similar results.
