I did three things when my vanity call arrived:
1. Set a group with the previous callsign - so the group name said as
WB8BGO. This is very helpful when entering a QSO-in-progress. You can look
in the same call window and you can see whether you worked him/her before,

There is an easier way. If you go to preferences where I have set the
labels tab to print the greeting as@@ 73 de %% email [EMAIL PROTECTED]
This will automatically print PSE or TNX QSL, 73 de Group Name Call and then

I have to agree--groups are powerful, yet underused. I was active Air Force
and moved often. I use group for the different QTHs. I use the QTH: %%
to print the location on the second line of the QSL label. My QSL cards
have check boxes for each location giving State, grid squares,
thanks for all the help on this. I've gotten quite a few emails with
helpful tips--some complete solutions. it's exactly what I needed. I
tried to email everyone a thanks who responded to me directly. I hope I
