I don't think everything that you wish to do can be done by DX4WIN or any
program for that matter. DX4WIN separates PSE and TNX qsls but not SSB and
CW unless they have different qsl managers. I have room to print about 5 or
6 qso's on my cards and that is only a limitation of my cards. The main
I want to print the label directly on the back of my 5 1/2w x 3 1/2t QSL
cards. I would like to be able to print 8 to 10 QSO's on each card. How
can I set it up in a custom label to do this. One thing is that it tries to
print SSB contacts on one label and CW on another and I do not want to

I am also a happy user of DX Telnet (Version 5.1) by Fab,
IK4VYX. It works very well with DX4WIN and WriteLog that we
use at 4U1WB.
However, it appears that DX Telnet does not work if you have
some McAfee programs on your PC. I use McAfee's Internet

Bruce, DX4WIN already has an integrated packet terminal program. Just
type CRTL-P or go to the WINDOW menu and click on packet. You have to
set the packet parameters in the PREFERENCES selection area first though.

Good Morning Bruce,
I've been a very happy user of DX-Telnet for a long time. It's a very
flexible program with lots of goodies, that aren't hard to get up and
running, including a startup routine that starts DX-Telnet, a
handshake program, and then DX4Win. It's very stable, the last update

Hello everybody,
in an earlier post I said the following:
"Another observation is that all spots from internet are lost after exit
from DX4WIN. When I use my "normal" set-up to the local DC-cluster via 144
MHz spots remain."
Now the two cases are identical i.e. spots are lost when opening DX4WI
Good Morning:
Which terminal program would you recommend for use with DX4WIN. Telnet =
is out of the Question but DX packet spots are OK in my Area. Any Ideas =
would be appreciated. Shareware would be better!

I got a message back from Ron Wright, ZL1AMO. The dates of his Rotuma
operations are listed on www.qrz.com when you look up 3D2RW. That's the good
news, it makes my job easier. However, Ron says he always signed /R when
operating from Rotuma (vs. Fiji) but I'm sure many of you did not log it tha
