The list that opens shows what countries you have WORKED, MAILED a QSL to, SUBMITTED, or CONFIRMED. If you see a W for WORKED, you double click on the W and it will take you to that QSO so you can send a card, etc. Also, it will take you to the first QSO, you may have to use the slider bar, (next to the time window) to find the latest QSO.
Re: [Dx4win] ALT-A
I'm running 7.04 and I've noticed a similar delay. I have a feeling that it may be associated with the keyboard keystroke decoding routine because I notice a similar delay when initiating a CW transmission using the keyboard. I'm also running XP with a 1.3 GHz processor. 73, Joe K2XX Roger D Johnson wrote: David J. Many of us use Writelog for our contest logging. In writelog (and I think CT in the old days) Alt W is used to clear the QSO entry window. In a contest you Alt W a lot, so it is second nature to Alt W if you want a clear QSO entry window. In DX4Win it's F9 plus respond to the do you really want to pop-up, if you've made any QSO relevant entries. I for one sure would like to have my Alt W key work in DX4Win. I was hoping there was a way to customize keyboard shortcuts, but I couldn't find it. Has anyone been successful in this regard? Still a happy DX4Win customer, with almost 57K QSOs in the log. Does F12 not do something similar? I am not at the PC with DX4WIN at the moment, so cannot test. Ian: Indeed it does. What I'm looking for is a way to map Alt W to F12. Re: [Dx4win] Re: Dx4win Digest, Vol 54, Issue 12
David, You need to do the following: Set up several com ports in the MH router. In my case, I use com5, 6, 7, 8. In the router on the ports tab, select a com port to control the radio with. I use com5. Click the set button next to com5 and select the radio from the list. Assuming the MH cables are connected to the radio, the router should now be communicating with the radio via the DK. Once this works, go into preferences in DX4WIN and on the radio tab, select the radio, then select the same com port you selected in the router, i.e. com5. For your radio, I believe you must select 4800 as the baud rate. You will have to play with the DTS/RTS setting, but I think checking high for both may work. What you will have done is set up the radio to be controlled by your Digi Keyer by setting up the MH router. You will have also set up the DK to be controlled by DX4WIN. DX4WIN will think it's connected to an actual com port when it is really connected to a software port in the MH router. The commands it gives to and receives from the radio are actually coming from the router which interprets all that stuff and talks to the radio which thinks its talking to the software. Sound complex but it's not once you get the hang of it. 73, Les W2LK David J. McAulay wrote: Hi All Yes I dont have the radio connected as most said connect it and this goes away. Re: [Dx4win] Reflector Digest??
Hi Karl, Click on the link below, scroll down the bottom where it says Dx4win Subscribers, enter your email address and click on unsubscribe or edit options. After logging in, you'll get to a screen where you can set your list options, the first one controls whether you get individual emails or a digest.
