[Dx4win] Error message
I am having a problem with Dx4Win v8.04 and v8.05. If and when I enter a QSL MGR's call sign and address info into the qsl mgr window all is fine until I hit ALT S. I then get an ERROR BOX, with this msg inside. ERROR AN EXCEPTION OCCURRED UNABLE TO CREATE DIRECTORY OK! I have put qsl calls and mgr addresses in the mgr window until I'm blue in the face. I need to print out labels for qsls and until I get this figured out a can't print out the labels due to the mgr info keeps disappearing. Any Help would be appreciated. ERROR AN EXCEPTION OCCURRED UNABLE TO CREATE DIRECTORY Hugh, what are you doing EXACTLY? I tried it and it worked for me: File | Databases | Manager Addresses I put AD1C in the Manager field, then Edit | Add Address I typed in the address (4 lines maximum) then File | Save Changes and Exit ALT-S doesn't enter into the picture, that's for saving your log. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Radio drivers for IC-7600 and IC-7700

The 2nd VFO reading is understood by the equipment on the CI-V chain as a frequency reading and, as before, all the equipment change the frequency during the reading and than go back to the main reading afterward. Moreover, if you have the 2nd VFO active (Main/Sub switch), the radio goes back to the MAIN VFO after the reading. This happens on my 7600. I have seen the second the second one. I could NOT duplicate the first one. When you say, all the equipment change the frequency what equipment do you mean? Guy and I both did transmitting tests (his 7800 and my 7600) and at NO time the 2nd VFO ever transmit, even when DX4WIN was polling the radio. - Jim -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
