Re: [Dx4win] callsign in alphabetical order
I did not know this either. When you look at the SORT INDEX box there is no drop down arrow as in the other boxes so it was not obvious to me that when you click that window you can change the sorting selections. [Dx4win] Removing Duplicate QSOs
I have written a new application note on removing duplicate QSOs from your logbook: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/dedupe.htm I have to check with Paul on a couple things, but I tested the procedure and it does work. 73 - Jim AD1C p.s. the app. note is missing the menu on the left (that the other app. notes have), I have to use a different editor to fix this, and I don't have that editor installed on this computer. That may be what you saw elsewhere. To get the new configuration file, while logged in to LoTW, go to "My Account" then "My Certificates". You'll see the latest configuration file released on March 3rd. This does one good thing - adding the new entities for PJx. And does one bad thing - adding a number of adifmap entries that cause QSOs for several digital modes to be changed prior to upload to LoTW. This should have been done as a mode map, not an adif map. 73, -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Jim and all, thank you for the advise. I could do it by open a report generator and sort it by call. It worked fine. [Dx4win] submissed flag vs. nothing????
Yesterday, I had a bunch of cards for new countries, modes, and bands here at home as well as having a lot of new LOTW matches that I could utilize.. I did a LOTW submission to zero out the matches yesterday to the ARRL. I am keeping the cards here until I get some more to get my DXCC on 30 meters which will be soon, I hope. Just a pure LOTW submission yesterday. I went into DX4WIN to flag the LOTW matches with a letter "S" and they all took as shown on a report where the Report/Action was SUBMISSION. All these LOTW picks showed in the report. Unfortunately, most, if not all, the cards I am keeping until later show up in that report, too. I went into them to change the MIXED/BAND/MODE flags to a dash to show that they had not been submitted. After saving, they come back with the letter "S" as though I submitted them and show up in the report mentioned above. What am I doing wrong? 73 Steve Sala K7AWB DN17es Nine Mile Falls, WA 6-meters rocks!! __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] TQSL 1.13 is latest version?
Hi Folks, I thought I read somewhere that there was a newer version than 1.13 of TQSL for Logbook of the World. I can only find 1.13 on the ARRL web site. Did anyone else hear this? Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN 8, Windows 7 and Pure USB
Hi Byron, I'm sorry you had so many problems with the USB adapters. I have heard to stay away from ALL *except* those that have the FTDI chip set. I prefer the microHAM and/or Rigblaster type solutions, but that won't give you enough COM ports for the rotator, etc. Good luck getting the amp going.
