[Dx4win] Radio timeouts
Bob, are you using multiple connections to the radio cat port via virtual ports? If so I have had time out problems doing this when the applications poll too fast. In my case it is SDR-radio for pan-adaptor and dx4win. Radio is ft5000 and interface is micro ham USB II. The computer is running port splitter software to connect to both applications. I just started using the micro-ham interface III with the Idea of using digital modes and i was interested in doing some rtty contests. I started using DM 780 for my rtty and psk31, but i also have to have HRD connected to my radio in order to do that. Has anyone tried this and if so have they gotten it to work. I have been using dx4win for about 13 yrs and didn't have any trouble till i wanted to start running digital modes. Bob, it would be helpful if you mentioned the radio model and settings (i.e. baud rate etc.) There is no connection closed message, I think it says radio timed out or something like that. I have never had any problems keeping either ICOM or Yaesu radios connected via the microHAM microKEYER (original) or microKEYER II. I assume the USB Keyer III (?) you are using has the same hardware for the radio interface. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us -- Message: 2 Date: Sat, 8 Feb 2014 14:00:07 -0600 From: William McEachern wmce...@yahoo.com To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] Logbook printing problem Message-ID: 92e2668e-042c-458e-8d3e-3a0a59c43...@yahoo.com Content-Type: text/plain;charset=us-ascii I have the fields set for printing my logbook but the last field (far right column in landscape mode) does not show in print preview and does not print. 'W' means worked but you have not sent a QSL. Why would you want to change 'M' back to 'W'? -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Bill, you can save your logbook window to a .CSV file by right-clicking on the window. Then you can open this .CSV file using Microsoft Excel or some other spreadsheet program. This will give you much more control over the printing. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
