[Dx4win] Elecraft K4D Configuration?
Does anyone have the DX4WIN setup configuration for controlling the Elecraft K4D? [Dx4win] DX4WIN + WSJT-X COM Port Control
I have used DX4WIN for many years. I use WSJT-X for FT8. I want both programs to have simultaneous full access to my transceiver through the one COM port that is used for data transfer and control of the transceiver. I have tried many port sharing and port splitting software programs without success. The two programs work for a few minutes, but when one of the programs polls the port, the other program loses connection to the port. Has anyone found a way to do what I want to accomplish? I have been advised that Ham Radio Deluxe has the desired capability, but I don't want to switch from DX4WIN to HRD. [Dx4win] DX4WIN, IC7800 & SteppIR Controller Issue
Hello all, I have a strange problem that is driving me nuts. DX4WIN specifies baud rate of 9600 to talk to my IC7800. When I set the IC7800's CI-V baud rate to 9600, there is no communication between DX4WIN and IC7800. When I set the IC7800's CI-V baud rate to AUTO, DX4WIN and IC7800 get along just fine. But, when the IC7800's CI-V baud rate is set at 9600, the SteppIR SDA-100 control box will not autotrack the IC7800's band or frequency. If I set the 7800's CI-V baud rate to AUTO, then the SteppIR SDA-100 control box tracks properly. Does anyone have any ideas? 73 & HNY, Mark, K6FG __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] DX4WIN and WSJT-X
I've used DX4WIN for many years. It controls my IC-7800 perfectly, as expected. Now I'd like to also be able to control my transceiver by WSJT-X, as well. The problem is that they both fight for control of the rig. DX4WIN usually wins and WSJT-X presents me with an error message. Does anyone have a simple way to enable both programs to control the rig concurrently? Re: [Dx4win] Rotator issue
Thank you, Dusty. That was the cause. 73, Mark -Original Message- From: Dusty Chapman [mailto:k...@verizon.net] Sent: 5 November, 2017 7:36 AM To: 'Mark Weiss' Subject: RE: [Dx4win] Rotator issue Hi Mark, I had the same problem with my Orion controller. Simple fix for me was - Click on Rotator - Parameters - go to each band and click it and change the "disabled" to "Normal". I think I had to click the OK for each band as I went through the process.
