I cannot find a copy of the latest FT-5000 rig file. Mine is quite old, and
shows a “HEX value of 00 as default”, with “baud rate of 38,400” and “Notes for
Radio of V1.1 ON4AOI”. I’ve recently been having problems with the radio and
DX4WIN connecting and talking to each other, with ERROR
Using Win 10 current version, Yaesu FTdx5000, and cannot get them to talk to
each other. Using the serial port on the 5000, an RT Systems USB-63 cable
w/the FD-11 chipset, and a USB connector on the other end. I’m assuming I
have a comport assignment problem. Is there a specific comport

colors be easily reset to the original ones?

My “All Bands All Modes” DXCC Report shows all of the Status’s as “S”.
They were, and should be “C”, with a few “M” qsos. This change happened
suddenly a couple of weeks ago. Until that time all was running smoothly. Any
way to do a mass change on those band and mode columns? If so,
I somehow changed all the “C” to “S” on the the complete listing report - all
bands, modes etc. There must be an “easy” way to change it back but I can’t
find the info, which I read a long time ago. Running the up to date version of
DX4WN v9. Any ideas appreciated either here or to
I’m seeing the Message: “ERROR packet window will not open” when trying to
open the program. Any suggestions on which Preference criteria, etc settings I
should be checking?
