Hello Tim I love DX4Win I've been user for many years, maybe not as much as you that is because I'm younger I'm not Electrical Engenieer and I never programmed anything but my timetable... But I know one thing you could be the best Engenieer or programmer in the world but you are not a great sales manager No one are talking about bad issues of DX4Win, We Just want to know what the future is... If you want to be stacked in the past is your choice, but let younger users to ask for some improvements.. .It seem that everytime a user ask for something some one of you become pissed of, I can't understand why... I work to serve others and we alwaays say that the customers opiniond make us improve and we need to hear them But not here?? Why? because you are a happy user??? F..k the rest because it is perfect for me .Is a good policy to stay alone. The major improvement of DX4WIN was the last year and bring us only the FT8 mode and some other minor updates, we only ask for some improvements , two or three because we love this program The attitude is no leave them alone, the right attitude is fight for us. One thing is true unhappy customers that complain look for an improvement and they want to stay or come back, unhappy customers that don't complain never comeback , you have lost them Hav a nice day walking over your green grass in you pastures. Tim It is not a question of being satisfied, it is a question of being totally ignored by the developpers. Yes, DX4Win does a lot of nice things, it does everything most hams expect from a logging program. But any request for update is totally ignored : no reply whatsoever. I agree with what Branko wrote. I've had DX4WIN since I bought it with floppy disks. I spent money but no new features, I chose Swisslog. Goodbye Norma Jean, goodbye DX4win. After much deliberation, I decided that DX4win was no longer my choice after 20+ years of use. The main reason is Paul's lack of collaboration and waiting for updates on the dropper. We all paid this program fairly and stayed on it thanks to the JIm AD1C. Without his support, DX4win would have been retired long ago. I made my money honestly, so I expect to get what I paid for it, no more or less. Thank goodness today we can find many freeware programs that offer much more. Greetings to all with the hope of meeting you at the bands.
