For the past week I have had the system beep activated. Now for the past two
days I have been trying to disable this annoying beep to no avail. Every
spot that comes in there is that beep. In File/Preferences/Packet 1/Warning
Messages/List in Window is set but still receiving system beeps.

Same thing happened to me just a week or so ago. My system beep

beep that used to come with each DX
Voice and CW alerts work just fine with me. The system alert does not work,
even on the internal PC speaker (with the sound card turned off).

Posted this question a couple of weeks ago, but got no replies. Wonder if
anyone can suggest what to look at to get my system beep back the one
that notifies you that a new band/mode country has been spotted. It used
to work, then just disappeared not sure what I might have
