Problem solved.
I use a Kenwood TS-940S connected to a Kenwood IF-232C Interface through a
USB-SERIAL controller that functions as Prolific.
The fact is that every time Win 10 is updated, communication between the
radio through the controller stops working, giving the famous Code 10 error
or
I finally got my mmtty/rtty problem sorted out this morning all thanks
to the great help from Joe W4TV who gave me many pointers and areas to
look at. Turned out to be very simple opening the Keying Setup and
changing that port to PTT Control and RTS fixed the problem. Now I wish
I knew

I have solved my problem with DX4WIN Updater by deleting everything and
re installing. Now everything works fine.

Joe, W4TV, of microHAM, discovered that the window was 'pulled down' and the
spectrum display and waterfall were 'hidden' from view. I dragged the window
open and voila, PSK31.
