Searching the DX4WIN log for a specific RST does not work. I've tried
599, 57A and -12, all RSTs that are in my log.
Is this a known problem?

Yep. Paul is aware of it, I think he said it'll be fixed in the next release
and that it's related to the change in the window to allow things like -12,
etc.

It would be nice if Paul was able to implement a RST length limit and
character checking for modes that have shorter RST than what it is now
opened up to. Like back to a max length of 2 for ssb, 3 for cw. I'm kind

Hello John,
Having the extra length for CW is nice because it allows you to add things
like 579C for a chirpy signal for 599K for a guy with key clicks (which
happens WAY too often!). Yes, it takes some getting used to after 20 years
of having the cursor automatically jump to the next field!

Hi all,
Is there an easy way to copy over your setup information from version 8 to
version 9, or should I just re-enter location, printer label information,
and the like?

Hi Mike,
Sigh, yes I guess. Never bothered with that myself, not starting now. :-)
Kind of nonstandard in the amateur world. How does that fit in when sharing
with other databases?

Write INI file in Version 8.
Merge INI file in Version 9.
