[Dx4win] Impoprting SD ARRL-10 Logs

2002-12-15 Thread Bob Naumann - N5NJ
You may need to upgrade your SD SDCHECK programs. I have version 9.94 and it will produce an ADIF file which can be imported by Dx4win. Oh, and you must use SDCHECK to create the Cabrillo file that the log checkers wants. SD does not create Cabrillo as the default file format. 73, Bob N5NJ

[Dx4win] Kenwood QSX - was QSX Function of TS-850S

2002-03-27 Thread Bob Naumann - N5NJ
The 850 has provision in it's software to set VFO B to be the transmit VFO, but it does not seem to actually make it become the transmit VFO - which occurs manually as we know by pressing the B button in the TX column. This command does work with the 850, but not in DX4WIN for some reason. The

[Dx4win] Country Database

2002-05-06 Thread Bob Naumann - N5NJ
Go to the K1B QSO. Change the prefix field to KH1. Baker has been KH1 for longer than DX4Win has been around. No need to change the country database. You only need to link that QSO with the Baker record. 73, N5NJ - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net

[Dx4win] Ver. 6

I have found that to be true also. DXBase is a very resource intensive program. It takes forever to load and once it does, it's very slow. This contributed to my decision to go with DX4Win several years ago. In contrast, DX4Win is a very efficient program, works well while other things are

[Dx4win] Follow up of SO2R problem with DX Doubler box.

2003-01-29 Thread Bob Naumann - N5NJ
DX4Win uses pin 17 on the LPT port for CW. However, DX4Win does use pin 20 on a Com port for CW. Some other configuration error must be the problem. According to the DX4Win documentation the SO2R functions are according to the de facto standard for: Pin 14 radio 1/2 Pin 16 PTT Pin 17 CW
