[Dx4win] QSL manager database updates?
Because I will be releasing a new country file this weekend, please let me know if there are any errors in the DX4WIN QSL manager database that I can fix before then. I have already head of one, and am waiting on one other. Re: [Dx4win] QSL manager database
Hi, thank you Jim and everyone else for your suggestions. I deleted the wrong QSL manager entry with an ADIF editor (ADIFMaster) before sending the QSL data to the Global QSL service for print. The workaround worked well. Nevertheless, it would be nice if the editor of the QSL manager database would be available again with the next update. A happy new year for you all! 73 de Georg, DL5NO On Sun, Dec 30, 2018 at 8:23 AM Georg, DL5NO wrote: I just want to delete a wrong QSL manager entry for a callsign, without overwriting with another entry. I was hoping it would be before the end of the year, but the is only one day left and I'm not sure I'll have enough time to make it happen, so it may be January 1 instead (or the following weekend). __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] QSL manager database
Hi, I am using DX4WIN version 9 (9.0.4.1176), and maybe one of the other users has a solution for the following problem: I just want to delete a wrong QSL manager entry for a callsign, without overwriting with another entry. If I clear the QSL-manager field in the QSO-window and press F10, then the former entry in the QSL-manager field appears again. Up to version 8 there was a possibility to delete inappropriate entries directly in the QSL manager database. This function is obviously disabled with version 9 ("QSL manager editor not available"). Does anyone have any idea how just to delete an inappropriate entry from the DX4WIN QSL-manager database? 73 de Georg, DL5NO __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] QSL Manager Database
I'm having two problems with the QSL Manager Database: 1) If I try to change the manger from the QSO window, the change doesn't stick. 2) When I try to access the QSL Manager database from the program File Menu, it is grayed out Any advice? Re: [Dx4win] QSL Manager Database
Regarding #1, if you try to create/change the manager on the same date date as is already in the database, then the one which is alphabetically earlier in the callbook will still show. For example, if FH5TT is shown as via F5SCI, but the real manager is F5CSI, then F5CSI will still show in DX4WIN because it's earlier in the callbook. Regarding #2, it sounds like you may not be in Expert Mode, first tab of your preferences. If you run across errors in the QSL manager database, please send me the correction(s) so I can fix them in the database. The next release is this coming weekend, February 6/7. 73 - Jim AD1C On Tue, Feb 2, 2010 at 7:35 AM, Dan Jean dml...@gmail.com wrote: I'm having two problems with the QSL Manager Database: 1) If I try to change the manger from the QSO window, the change doesn't stick. 2) When I try to access the QSL Manager database from the program File Menu, it is grayed out Any advice? You still have to submit the QSOs via the LoTW web site to receive DXCC credit for them (at between 15c to 25c per confirmation). Then you have to MANUALLY update the status to Checked once ARRL approves them. There is no automation for that process. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.us -- Message: 3 Date: Sat, 17 Dec 2005 18:40:55 +0100 From: Stefano Cipriani [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Dx4win] QSL MGR DATABASE UPTODATE. [Dx4win] QSL Manager Database
Hello, I have a problem with loading data into this database. When I have prepared the textfile one line could look like this: PJ7B,03/08/2003,W8EB After import the resulting date has this look: 1703-01-08 The callsign and the manager are in correct places and correct written. Any ideas? I use DX4WIN v 6.02. 73 Erik Erik Hyllander, SM0LZT e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] alt.: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Packet: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[Dx4win] QSL manager database problem
Hi ! Over the years, I collected quite some QSL manager information. My QSL manager database which I used in version 5.03 lists over 24,000 managers and every week I imported some new managers which were listed in the Daily DX, 425DX News, etc. To keep my database up to date, I used the File/import QSL manager data in the QSL Manager database menu. I keep my data in the European date format (dd/mm/) as set in my preferences. After upgrading to version 6.02, I exported my 5.03 QSL manager database in a .TXT file and decided to import these data in 6.02 To my astonishment, most dates are set incorrectly. My date format in version 6.02 is also set to the European standard (just as it was in 5.03). I also tried to import a small .TXT file containing the following: ZS03CWC,02/01/2003,ZS1AU which resulted in the following entry in ine 6.02 QSL manager database: ZS03CWC 04/12/1702 ZS1AU Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, if anything at all? 73 de Egbert ON4CAS / N1TOI UBA Award Manager http://www.on4cas.tk

The latest QSL Manager database file that I could find available for download is the one on the ON4AOI site but it is almost a year old. Anyone know of anything available for download that is more up to date? Thanks, Tony N2SS
