From my perspective, e-gold needs a few more merchants more than it needs
a few more consumers. The whole process of bringing users to the gold
economy is a catch-22. Most consumers won't come into the gold economy if
there aren't a lot of merchants. Most merchants won't come into the gold
economy if there aren't a lot of consumers. However, a merchant will bring
more consumers than a consumer will bring merchants.
