After having so much fun building my K1, I decided to go for it and ordered a K2, which arrived yesterday. The fun started last night after work. I got as far as the first alignment and test - it was a happy moment when the Elecraft came up on the display. Tonight I'll start the assembly

Hi nick if you fix your bail to the bottom cover (cover not attached to radio) you will notice that a slight bow is formed in the panel all i did was gently bend the bail in my hands not a vice untill when installed on the panel there was no bow then all should be ok. Mick M1MGD K2#4785
