Hey guys,
I have a need for a while to use an automatic antenna switch on fully
resonant antennas.
The KAT500 works great with an interface to my flexRadio to change
antennas for me at specific bands.
If I keep the tuner in full bypass mode, but just use it as an

Thanks. A couple of reviews I saw of third-party pads referred to reduced
bass and overemphasized treble. Similar to what you'd get by pulling the
headphones away from the ears.

Well, maybe THAT's why I like these Sony MDR-7506's so much.
I find their treble response is perfect
Here's a link for Beyer Dynamics velour ear pads that I use in my MDR-7506

Well the newer had just doesn't sit on my head as well as the older one. In a
light wind, it tends to take off. I adjusted the band in the back, etc. and the
only thing I can come up with is the hat is not as preformed as the old had
was. So I thought it must be that the material is thinner or s
Tom,
You will have to use the KEYOUT from the K2/100. The AUX cable will not
work with the K2.

Funny you mention this Chuck, I just received my hat (along with the MH3
mic for my KX2) and really like the hat. Not sure what you mean by
"limp". Maybe you mean the older hat was "stiffer"?

I really liked the Elecraft hat (baseball cap) I bought a couple years ago so I

hour at a time. They mashed my ears, hurt, and were tiring.
