Hi,
I would like to run my K3 remotely and was wondering how can I switch it
on remotely, is there a way of doing this, perhaps by sending a sequence
of bytes on the serial port?

could have work the next one in the queue.
He's got nothing to prove sending at the speed of RTTY.

Good luck to all. I hope the A/K values stay low to allow some East
Coast US stations over the pole this year on 20m.

different as described S9 S1-2.
I have also swapped the antennas around and there has been no difference
which eliminates the antenna switching unit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do have a second RX in the K3.

Using Spectrum Lab with my on motherboard sound card shows a
persistent artefact at 12 KHz with sometimes one either side of it.
This doesn't appear when listening to typical speech on SSB but tuning
to CW
everything coming out from the DAC is amplified.

My ears are not good enough to hear 12 KHz.

I hope there is a cure for this as it's frustrating listening to CW with
this sort of distortion.

Yes indeed it would be a sorry situation if an operator can't tell the
difference between a desired signal and an audio harmonic, fortunately
my thread is not about that.
Anyway, the noise/distortion is still there coming out of the
headphone socket.

Jim,
there or not.
Perhaps there are settings which optimize this?
I have the RX EQ set up to cut the last 2 high frequencies off by 6dB
and 10dB but it seems to make no difference how I set these.
Does anyone else hear this very mild Ringing?

Surely that means every K3 has this but there seems to be no complaints
about it on CW or SSB?
I'm listening now to the YO contest and playing with settings and it is
quite marked ringing :-(
Is there a way of reducing this?

This sounds like harmonic

Does anyone else suffer from this?
I have read the PSK thread but I'm more interested in CW users in
particular.

Has anyone had this problem or could help?
I have written off to Electraft and I'm waiting for a response.
