Don't forget that you'll also need the KBPF3 option to receive outside the
HAM bands.
I've been using the K3 on MARS (including NCS duties) for ~5 months now.
Running ~600W with an SB-200. All works great; can't say enough about the
K3.

Great news your having the K3 wide-range TX mechanism implemented!
Do you have any information about the TX frequencies (or ranges of
frequencies) supported (or NOT supported, whichever is easier) when
operating the transmitter out-of-band? Even a rough idea would be very
helpful.
