The SUB receive on the KX3 is great for working pile-ups. The issue I have is when the DX station is weak, turning up the audio volume to hear the DX makes the pile-up so loud I can't hear the DX. Anyone know of a simple solution to making the pile-up audio lower and DX louder other than an

I've had pretty good luck using 2 40 foot wires. Either fed with a 1:1 balun and coax or with a BNC to banana jacks. Sometimes I put both wire ends up high like a V and sometimes I put one wire end up high the other on the ground or just above the ground. Tuner seems to be able to tune all

I've noticed that when I press and hold the RCL button the last memory selected is displayed. However, you can't put that memory into the VFO unless you tune away and then back again. I was trying to use the memory recall to return to 14.060 after tuning away. I hope I explained this
