Hi Doug,
I assume you don't have the KXFL3 roofing filter installed. I had the same
issue. Make sure that in the MENU -- temporally turn on TECH MD [ON] , then
select Rx xFIL and then set it to [not inSt]. I think you will find the
setting in [norm].
This should fix that issue.

I have K3 #509. I tested my keyboard and I also found some flickering
on some buttons. I never had any issues with operation. It might be
interest to compare which buttons are flickering.
During the Scn Adc test, the following key's second value would flicker:

be interested if this change may help.

Hi all,
I just upgraded to the latest beta. Set pitch to 630 and then varied
the WIDTH and SHIFT. Set the WIDTH for 0.80 then when shifting
passed FC 0.35, the receiver dies with an error E 0C ERR DSE.
It doesn't appear to matter what the pitch tone is set. After the
error occurs,

I was able to plug and play using Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) and the USB

Can't wait to start the build and get it on the air!

There is an excellent article about Manhattan Building Techniques. K7QO
uses an inexpensive hole punch to create the pads. I have tried this
technique, and it really is easy and if carefully done, a real work of art.

K2 users, I'm thinking about building a k2 for myself.I built the k1 and do use
it.Is the VFO operation better than the k1? I guess, I mean ,is it smooth to
use for hours of tuning the bands or is it similar to the k1?
Thank You
