[Elecraft] K3 Utility doesn't respond

I have recently recieved a K3 and am trying to perform the Firmware upgrade. When I plug in the USB to my laptop, it recognizes the Prolific drivers and says that the hardware is installed and ready to use. When I try to select the Port assignment in the K3 Utility, it reads the correct port

[Elecraft] That's just wrong!

So, a couple of months ago I place an order for a newly minted K3. So far, so good. I find out what the expected backlog. Okay, I can deal with that. I get a Katie-gram and bristle with anticipation. Things are looking up! Just before Elecraft was to send it out, I go on

So, I think that my K2 is angry with me for buying a K3! I have a K2 (s/n 2833) with a seperated KPA100 and KAT100 in an EC2. I disconnected the amp today to run as the QRP setup and my sidetone seems to be gone! I checked with a dummy load and a signal is going out. All of the settings

Gents, I have recently aquired a Hallicrafters SX-43 receiver and have a quick question. The power cable was in very bad shape and didn't have an end connector on it. I am planning on wiring up a new cable but wanted to be sure how to power it. I am assuming it requires a 12VDC source,

[Elecraft] KX1 Q6 problem

'Crafters, I having a bit of a problem. I've just recently completed a build of a KX1 and everything has gone together smoothly, as usual. The problem is with the power transitor, Q6. If I tighten the flathead screw, Q6 must be shorting against something, as the display goes blank and the
