KPA500 274 is on the air. However, with DIGOUT1 set to ON on 6m, the KPA500
will not amplify. Ther OPER light is on, but the amp is in standby. When I
configure DIGOUT1 to OFF on 6m, then the KPA500 transmits, but the PR6 won't
come on.

non-Elecraft equipment on this list--everything from military surplus hard

Today I proudly carried my KX1 into the Sunnyvale, CA Fry's Electronics to try
out hard cases for my KX1. Here's the scoop:
Pelican 1040 Micro Case did not fit my KX1. Someone on this list recommended
it, so I'm wondering if Pelican perhaps changed sizes?? Did I get this wrong?

It is frustrating all right. However, with my K2, XP laptop, and HRD, it DOES
work with a Keyspan USB converter. The consensus I heard from off-list replies
on this problem was that some USB converters do not run well at the 4800 bps
speed of the K2. Some folk said their K2

freq display (of different lengths), and the other fields such as NB do not
read correctly.
HOWEVER, there are no problems when using an older Keyspan Serial Adapter on

with power line noise for years at my QTH, and the K3 is the first rig I've
owned that can knock it out. It takes a bit of tweaking, and for reasons I
