I have been using my silent SPA 8230 power supply for many years. Its mains
switch started show contact errors, would like to replace it. As QRP Shop
Biz in Germany closed last year need help to find where can I find switch
replacement. Could you please help with the switch type and manufacturer
No solution in EU, finally ARRL HQ helped me out. Great support. Thank you

Heil Proset is great with K3 and KX3 both. Different settings but each
sounds excellent. You may not like Proset on portable, it is large for
that, use a small, light computer headset with electret element if you
prefer VOX. I use a small Panasonic that requires more mic gain than
than Proset.
I have no circuit diagram, what is the timebase quartz frekvency?

I use AA and AAA sizes for different purposes, simply great. NIMH can
not compete with them due to similar voltages like batteries. Needs
special charger like Volcraft CM410 from Conrad. Pack price went up
while MIMH pack price went down this year.

Found an impressive HF PA, HVLA700Q, looks ideal for QRP rigs like
K3/10, KX3 as requires only 10W drive for 700W output. They give
attractive 5 year guarantee. Is it a silent PA, any experience? Would be
nice having a dBA noise specification with max. power of the factory
built PAs.
Firmware works OK, I set the wrong AGC not the one is for cw. Thank you

Price will be a major factor, and of course the additional service. UK
is very expensive for us on other goods, even w/o customs duty and VAT

Yes, both of you were right. I use only ANT1 2 and I checked them
before. Have not checked the AUX input and the sub was set to AUX. Slow

USPS is great to buy goods from US. Reasonable cost and I have never had
any issues with them. For transceivers this should be a tracked package.
UPS is more costly but also good.

Just learnt a new phenomena, the output is 12W on SSB, 5W on CW. All
bands, no power is set per band. Manually setting shows 12watts, actual
is only 5W on CW. SSB is OK. Any thoughts?

removed the top cover and it is silent. MFJ may think about making a new
cover or placing the fan 5-10 mm from the cover. This would help.
