I forgot to say that I am using an Astron 35 amp, 13.8 volt supply.
Anyway, I found the problem to be a defective U7 on the control board. Nothing
easy like a bad solder problem Have to return to a normal life now utill I can
get a new IC replacement.
Building these
Finally got to the first Alignment and Test, Part 1 on my K2.
Upon power up the display reads E25.5 i.52 for the voltage display. All the
other initial menu driven checks are ok. Can't find why the voltage is so
high. Checked both 5 and 8 volt regulators and thier ok. RP1 and RP2 are not
