Hi Group,
I'm just now programming the memories of my K3. I'm using the K3 Frequency
Memory Editor application to simplify this.
I've added text labels to the memory allocations and I can see that these
are supposed to be shown in VFOB position on the LCD when the memory is
recalled. Well,
John,
How are you recalling the memories? When I tap MV, the memories can be
scrolled with the VFOA knob. Each memory along with its label is
displayed in the VFO B area until something is changed (VFO A is moved
to the next memory or MV is tapped again to enter that memory into the
VFOs).
Hi Don,
Well, I've just been allocating frequencies to the Per-band quick memories
which I've set up using M1/M2/M3/M4 keys. I tap MV, then M1-M4 to recall
the frequency allocated to that key on a per-band basis. The text flashes
for an unreadable instant in the VFO B area and then is gone.
John,
That is just the way it is. You can see the quick memories for the 0
through 9 keys if you scroll to them with the VFO A knob - they are the
same as the 00 thru 09 memories. But the per band quick memories do
not show except during the time after you had tapped (or hold) the
button
Thanks Don. That makes perfect sense. It's just the way it is. I'm happy now I
know.
